Hello my Brother and Sisters in Christ Jesus,
So very much to be thankful for! A new website for Guyana Mission Outreach Program is soon to come out. This will be a means to share all the history as well as current events within the ministry.
Often I am unsure how to write because as people are added I am wondering how to share our experiences with all of you. Now that there is a means and a place to store our details that will be easily accessible to all.
As I am reflecting on how to better support this ministry I have been looking over promoting monthly giving. There are many advantages to monthly support for both the recipient and the giver. Commitment and ability to consistently give in an affordable manner. It feels so good to give large sums of money yet if I wait for the ability to give a large sum then it doesn’t happen.
Consistent giving is so helpful for budgeting, making decisions and moving forward. Having a heart open to supporting the ministry means that time is taken on a frequent basis to lift the work of GMOP in prayer and financial support.
As the new year is approaching please ask the Lord what should be your part in this ministry in 2019. Is it to have a weekly or daily time for intercessory prayer, is it to contribute $10, $20, or $25 to the work on a monthly basis?
