Al is also an ordained minister and holds a Bachelor of Biblical Studies from Trinity Biblical University. They have been married for 57 years and are blessed with two sons and seven grandchildren.

Mike Bruce
Communications Director

As a first generation American, Mike was taught by his parents, Al and Doreen, to trust his pioneering instincts and to prioritize his life around faith, education, and service to country. After spending his entire childhood in Piscataway, New Jersey, Mike followed the wisdom of his parents and has pursued his life passions. His personal joys include his wife Sarah of 25+ years, his four children, and numerous household dogs. His professional career has focused on technology, defense, and healthcare where he has held several executive positions that have led to public offerings, management buyouts, and venture capital raises.

Ransford Foster
Treasurer

Ransford was born in Jamaica and is the eldest of nine children. Ransford has been married to Fay for 42 years and is the father of six children. In Jamaica, he studied Baking Technology and worked in the baking industry there for 11 years. He emigrated to the U.S. in 1983 and worked in the baking industry in New York for 23 years until his retirement in 2006. After relocating to Ocala, Florida in 2007, he was baptized and became a member of Maranatha Baptist Church where he now serves as a Deacon.

Linda Brown
Secretary

For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 8:38-39 CSB). This has been Linda’s belief for many years. Born in Guyana but raised in the United States, she has made it her life mission to put God first. With God’s help she has spent many years as a teacher, learner and adventurer.

Melva Bruce
Donor Relations

Melva is a retired math teacher and a New Jersey native. Through her husband (Dr. B), she spent time with Al and Doreen and witnessed their dedication to GO! It was apparent that there was a need to spread the word about what the GO! ministry was accomplishing in Guyana. Having a heart for missions, a desire to share the gospel of Jesus Christ, and experience with various software, she has filled this position since 2014.

Dr. Carlton Bruce
Ministry Development Advisor

Carlton Joshua Bruce (“Dr. B” to his friends) is the seventh of eleven children of George and Iris Bruce of Georgetown, Guyana. He credits his mother for his love of writing, which was inspired in him during his time spent at her Decorum Kindergarten as a young boy. Bruce “did 35 years” as a high school CAD teacher and volunteered as a mediator. He also served 19 years in Piscataway municipal court. This experience prompted him to work towards and complete his PhD in Pastoral Ministry at Trinity Theological Seminary, Newburgh, IN. In addition, Dr. B. has graduated as “A Barefoot Writer” from American Writers & Artists, Delray Beach, FL. His experience as an immigrant at the age of 21 has fueled his passion with GO! Working closely with his brother, Al, and using his gift of writing, Dr. B continues to help the ministry grow and serve so many of God’s children.

Tamara Merriman
Advisor

Tammi has a love of missions and has worked in supporting local and foreign missions since she was a teenager. With a degree in Public Relations and a certificate in International Relations from the University of Florida, she has had the opportunity to assist in numerous organizations. Her professional career has included business management, real estate auction management, as well as real estate appraising. Currently Tammi has cut back on most of her duties to focus on her family, which includes her husband of almost 7 years and 2 daughters, ages 3 and nearly 5.

Audley McLean
Advisor

Audley, born and raised in Jamaica, trusted Christ at the age of 15. The Lord used the Elders at Galilee Gospel Hall to kindle a fire in him for missions and soul-winning. Audley pursued Bible training at Emmaus Bible School and launched into a life of evangelism and Bible teaching. In 1965, he moved to Buffalo, NY with his family and lived and worked there for 35 years. Professionally, Audley worked in the corporate world, while following his true calling of church-planting and ministering in Buffalo’s inner city. Bible radio broadcasting was, and is, one tool of many that he uses in his ministry.

Dinah Casaletto
Advisor

Dinah has been a lifelong Floridian. She was baptized at the age of 9 and witnessed many miracles throughout her lifetime. She has also witnessed some profound loss as a mother: an infant daughter and later her 43-year-old son were taken from her. However, her deep faith in Christ has helped her to overcome these and other life challenges. Professionally, Dinah worked in management for the US Postal Service. The last five years of her service was spent in Washington, DC at the Postal Headquarters where she wrote and piloted training programs for employees. Now retired, she continues to do God’s work.
