Hello my Brothers and Sisters in Christ Jesus,
I want to take this time to bring you up to date on one item in particular that is going on in Guyana.
Some of you may know Pastor Vickram Mohabir. Others may not because he does not take center stage for these activities but leaves the recognition to Our Lord and Savior Jesus. He has been on the frontlines of much of the activities taking place in Guyana both at the camp and ministering to the local churches.
Our dear brother Pastor Vickram Mohabir has completed all but the last of the 36 credits needed to complete a Doctorate in Counseling from Wesleyan Bible College. Praise God he has received a scholarship eliminating half the cost. That still leaves approximately $7500 USD to be covered.
With this course of study and certification in the Doctoral Counseling degree, Pastor Mohabir will be a more effective pastor in the two churches he is now pastoring. He aims to launch two counselling centers, in Herstelling and Nabaclis, the two communities where he is pastoring.
Pastor Vickram’s ministry at Wesleyana Bible Camp has continued for more than 15 years. He has charge of all the operations of the Campsite including the chicken project. Along with the pastoring and the campsite he is a family man providing for his family and the needs of his father.
The urgency of the time is that if Pastor Vickram does not begin payment soon these credits will be eliminated. Let us lift up this need before the throne of our Lord and Savior asking for God’s word to go forth from this degree and for the funding to come in.
