Mission Report: March 2020

Dear Supporters of Guyana Mission,

As you may know we have been providing support to Wesleyana Bible Camp and with an Education Fund in both Guyana and Kenya. This letter is to introduce a dear brother who is need of support for his education. Our program is focused on ‘Giving Them a Fishing Rod’ so that others can be reached with the gospel of Jesus.

Dear Olpha Mosima has so much praise and thankfulness for how the Lord led GMOP to support her to achieve her dream. She graduated from Mount Kenya University; she can and is better serving her students and community.

We thank God that GMOP could be used for that purpose. And now she is encouraging us to support Evans Nyariki Nyamwaya. Just take a look at his Bio below and ask what God would have you to do!

Serving Him,
Melva Bruce

My name is Evans Nyariki Nyamwaya a Kenyan and a Christian.

I was born in western Kenya in a peasant Family who struggled with my education from secondary up to my undergraduate at Kampala international university.

In 2014 October 15th I lost my Parents and my younger brother through a road accident as they were taking my mother for Hospital Review since she had kidney failure.

Before this happened I had asked friends to help me plan funds drive to join master’s in communication at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology Kenya.

Since We had collected some cash in the funds drive and I had done my application for admission , I paid and started class which I attended up to course work completion, then death struck leaving me unable to clear the remaining fee and research requirements.

I haven’t had any stable job all this period. Immediately I had to take up care of my other four younger siblings left behind as I do part time teaching in a local school where I am paid kes.10,000 monthly too little to meet education debts and family needs.

The total fee for the entire program is $5000 I have paid $ 2000. I have been struggling to clear the remaining fee of $ 3000 including research, but it has become a challenge .my research thesis is not complete yet despite all this period because of family background. And financial constraints. I do voluntary work in an N G O Destined Youth initiative Kenya to be relevant with skills empowerment.

I have to confess that I have tried all ways to finish this Programme but in vain .now the university has given me a letter to show cause why I should not be deregistered since I have taken long to complete.

This situation has been occasioned by the state of issues in our orphan family.

I am appealing to you kindly to relieve me with any amount you may in order for me to complete this program and get my certificate which will act as a stepping stone to overcome our state as a family and allow me seek for a good job to support my siblings education and even help me for PHD sponsorship application.

I may have not given all the issues affecting me but I make an honest appeal to you since you are my only life changer now and in future the same way you extended a hand of help to Olpha Mosima she is now graduated successfully. Please thank you for such a heart.

Some university transcripts have been attached here.

Kindly thank you I will be happy to hear from you I believe in God.
Bless your Humanitarian fishing Rod.
Evans Nyariki Nyamwaya.
