Mission Report: July 2020

Dear Guyana Mission Supporters,

First I want to thank the Lord for His recent blessings on this ministry my heart is forever grateful for the many faithful supporters over the years that enabled us to be at this point in our ministry.

Events take place in our lives that should we fail to document them erases the memory of the times needed to praise God for His continued goodness in our lives and in this case His ministry.

This occurred at the turn of the century when God brought to my awareness the need for this ministry. In 2002 it finally got started as a missionary outreach much like a toddler seeking strength for his shaking legs to move forward.

Fast forward nine years later we came to fruition. In 2011 as a Non-profit Corporation with 501(c) 3 tax exempt privileges in the state of Florida, however still struggling, we were blessed by God to make some significant contributions to our main ministry the Wesleyana Bible Camp and concurrently provided tuition support for a very needful student in Nairobi Kenya

Today nine years later (2020) the challenges still lie before us as we reminisce the goodness of the Lord’s provision and are uniquely positioned as never before with resources to take us forward for the years ahead. Praise God!

Within the last month the ministry added personnel who volunteered to become members on the board giving us a total of nine including myself, while others have offered their help to re-design our website among other enhancements enabling us to spread the word of what the ministry is about.

Welcome to our son Mike whose role is Communications Director, coordinating the latest talents, this gives a welcome relief to the few that has been carrying the banner faithfully for many years. Thank you!!

Until we can go onsite to our new website  which hopefully will be soon, it will enable everyone to see all the players that God has blessed us with as only He knows what the outcome of the harvest the next nine years will produce.

Finally, my thoughts as I write this: when the wearied Peter said, “Lord we have toiled all night and caught nothing” His reply “cast it on the other side”. (John 21: 6) This we will do in faith recognizing to give Him praise for all that is accomplished and faithfully do His bidding while reaping more of the harvest for His Kingdom.

Because of Calvary,
Al & Doreen Bruce
