Mission Report: January 2021

Hello Prayer Partners and Supporters of Guyana Mission,

May God richly bless you as we start a new year amidst the challenges of Covid-19.

We are encouraged and excited with the possibilities of continuing our development of the Lemon Project. The seedlings are planted, the irrigation system being installed, the location perfect as we are separated from the highly populated areas which is prime breeding grounds for the pandemic.

The area of Wesleyana Bible camp encompasses 114 acres of virgin forest, the actual campsite remotely located away from all residential areas.

This is the first time we have the opportunity to show arial views of the location, the defining lines of our boundaries, three sides are enclosed by coconut palms, the fourth a slow meandering stream or creek.

We are richly blessed with a deep water well supplying critical need for the irrigation, especially during the dry season.

Opportunities are endless with the possibility of planting cash crops among the lemon plants which could afford quick returns while awaiting maturity of the lemons.

The ministry of the campsite that would normally revolve around the camping activities of the children,      training of believers, carrying out the commission of baptism and all other activities so essential to the development of the body of Christ. All are currently on hold as a result of the pandemic. While awaiting their resumption we are occupied with the agriculture project to provide economic benefits, for that, we are very grateful to the Lord and your faithful support through your prayers and giving.

Because of Calvary,
Al & Doreen Bruce
